GEC Watch: Zee TV races ahead of Colors
Star Plus retains the top spot in week 9 with 637654 GVTs.
As per TAM data (HSM, C&S, 4+), Star Plus has claimed the top spot again in week 9 and grossed 637654 GVTs, as compared to 636047 GVTs in week 8.
While Zee TV garnered 442252 GVTs compared to last week's 417812 GVTs, Colors, in week 9, grossed 419498 GVTs, as compared to 444112 GVTs in the previous week.
The second GECs from Star India and Multi Screen Media, namely Life Ok and Sab TV, concluded the week with 311814 GVTs (last week 315953) and 264567 GVTs (last week 286153), respectively.
The flagship channel of MSM, Sony Entertainment Television, followed with 235498 GVTs. The channel had registered 253544 GVTs in the last week.
The free-to-air channels from Star and Zee Network - Star Utsav and Zee Anmol - ended the week with 102071 GVTs (last week 92003) and 98477 GVTs (last week 102097), respectively.
Next in line was Viacom 18's Rishtey which garnered 53127 GVTs in week 9, as opposed 55847 GVTs in week 8. Reliance Broadcast Network's flagship channel, Big Magic, came in next with 40442 GVTs, as opposed to 46761 GVTs in week 8 of TAM.
Sony Pal grossed 38327 GVTs (last week 38861), Zindagi recorded 20452 GVTs (last week 21843), Sahara One recorded 9138 GVTs (last week 9775 GVTs) and Epic clocked 7007 GVTs (last week 7182) in week 9.
