The switch-off announcement could possibly bring a major disappointment for viewers/subscribers of Reliance DTH platform, particularly the sports enthusiasts in view of the upcoming eighth season of Pepsi IPL 2015, commencing in April 2015. This spectacular cricket extravaganza will be broadcast on Sony Six and Max, distributed by TheOneAlliance. In addition to Pepsi IPL 2015, the viewers/subscribers of Reliance DTH platform may also miss viewing other programs/movies telecast on SET, Max 2, SAB, Sony Pal, Mix, Pix, AXN, Animax and Aath.

It is learnt that the subscriber base of around 1.6 million can face blackout anytime post three weeks of the issuance of the public notice.
