BBC Tamil TV news bulletins of regional and international news will be broadcast by Thanthi TV in Tamil Nadu, owing to a partnership between BBC World Service and Thanthi TV.
From today, at 7.30 PM, Monday to Friday, Thanthi TV viewers will be able to watch "dynamic", "concise" news bulletins with BBC's coverage of top international stories of the day.
BBC World Service is the first international broadcaster to offer Tamil-language TV content.
