14 matches of Indian Premiere League's (IPL) eighth edition were sampled by 145 million unique viewers, as per TAM data (C&S, 4+, All India) on all the channels - Sony Max, Sony Six, Sony Aath and Sony Kix.
TAM data further states that the time spent by viewers per match was 49 minutes and 4 seconds, which is 17 per cent more than the time spent during IPL 7. Average TVTs, meanwhile, showed a growth of 31 per cent for IPL 8, over IPL 7.
So far, 14 matches of IPL 8 garnered 4.1 per cent average TVT, which is 30 per cent more compared to IPL's previous edition. 54 per cent of the All India Universe of TAM tuned in to watch IPL 8 matches.
