DS Group, a multi-diversified conglomerate, has appointed Havas Worldwide as its integrated communications partner for its pan masala brand Tansen. The brand is a saffron-blended pan masala which has recently launched a sub-brand Tansen Blues, to cater to a semi-premium segment of the market. Presently the brand is available in Madhya Pradesh and will be made available in other states shortly.
The DS Group claims to have a turnover of more than Rs. 6500 crore and has presence in sectors such as F&B, Hospitality, Mouth Fresheners, Tobacco, Packaging, Agro Forestry, Rubber Thread and Infrastructure. The group has also entered into the Dairy and Confectionery segments.
Havas Worldwide India is an integrated communications company with digital at its heart. In India, its clients include Reckitt Benckiser, Microsoft, Uninor, Sanofi, HDFC Bank, Sony Six, Indiatimes, Del Monte and BPCL. Recently, Havas Worldwide India became the first Indian agency to win a Grand Effie at the Asia Pacific Effies.
