Namrata Balwani joins OgilvyOne as SVP

Balwani will replace Sanjeev Jasani who is set to join Cheil India as digital head.

Balwani, who previously served as chief executive officer, Media2Win (a full service digital agency), joined Media2Win in 2005 as national business head. While at Media2Win Balwani managed key accounts such as Lenovo, Tata Sky, L'Oreal, Tata Indicom, Max New York Life, Microsoft, Bajaj, Diageo, Viacom18. She has worked across categories like FMCG (CPG), BFSI (banking, financial services, insurance), technology media and entertainment, auto, real estate and telecom.

Balwani, who was business group head at Maxus (Group M) earlier, has worked on brands like VIP Luggage, Pidilite, Platinum Guild, SOTC, Disney Channel, Tata Motors, AXN and Franklin Templeton. She had started her career at Contract Advertising and has 16 years of experience. Balwani will be replacing Sanjeev Jasani at the agency. Jasani, as reported earlier, is serving his notice period and will be joining Cheil India as digital head later this month.

"Our Delhi business is doing very well, in terms of business wins and awards both. Namrata is the right person to head the team. She will bring fresh energy to the place. Her focus will be the same as Ogilvy's - to drive the digital business forward," added Vikram Menon, president and country head, OgilvyOne Worldwide and Neo@Ogilvy.
