Intex Mobile's Sanjeev Kumar joins Starcom MediaVest Group as AVP

Sanjeev Kumar, former AGM, Intex Mobile, has joined Starcom MediaVest Group as associate vice president. Kumar had joined Intex in March this year. At Starcom, he will be heading media buying from its Delhi office.

In his career spanning 19 years, Kumar has worked with Dentsu Marcom for two years, handling buying for Honda cars, Honda bikes, Jaypee Greens, Matrix Cellular and Canon, among others. Prior to Dentsu, he has worked with GroupM for four years as part of CTG at Maxus (Delhi & Bangalore) and Mindshare, Delhi. During his stint at GroupM, he worked on brands like Samsung, NIIT, Yamaha, MTR, AMD, Air Deccan, Titan and Britannia.

In his early days, he was associated with a number of upcoming agencies.
