Starting with a period drama, that marks the advent of new programming with a clarion of change is the story of independence struggle about a path-breaking newspaper 'Ranbheri' that not only played a significant role in the freedom struggle in the 1940s, but had also joined different voices of the freedom fighters who were slowly and stealthily working towards overthrowing the tyrannical British rule. The one-hour show, to be launched on August 15 at 8 pm, will be aired every Saturday and Sunday. It tries not only to tell the unheard story of unsung heroes of our freedom struggle, but also shows how media had played a major role during the independence struggle in India.

Starting from August 16, DD National has scheduled a chat show 'Koshish Se Qamyabi Tak' at 10.30 am, to be telecast every Sunday, anchored by Kiran Juneja. This show will go on air from August 24 at 10 pm, Monday-Thursday.
