MobiKwik makes two senior appointments

Hires Manish Chaturvedi from American Express as chief sales officer, and elevates chief strategy officer, Mrinal Sinha to COO.

MobiKwik, an independent mobile payments network, has announced key executive appointments. While Manish Chaturvedi moves in as chief sales officer from American Express, Mrinal Sinha has been elevated from head of strategy to chief operating officer.

Chaturvedi's key role will be to drive acceptance of MobiKwik wallet across formats and industries, besides managing key initiatives with banks and government entities. He has two decades of experience in the payments business and was most recently director - Global Merchant Services at American Express.

Sinha's new role within the company will involve directing, administering and coordinating the operational activities of the business in line with the policies, goals and objectives established for the company. He will also have the mandate to drive multiple CXO-level functions at MobiKwik. He has eleven years of experience in the industry.

Commenting on the appointments, Bipin Preet Singh, founder-CEO, MobiKwik, says, "We are very pleased to welcome Manish to the MobiKwik team.
