Quikr Homes will offer customer engagement and lead management tools for builders and brokers.
Quikr, a cross-category classifieds business, on September 8, announced the launch of Quikr Homes, which will provide customer engagement and lead management tools for builders and brokers. It will also provide a complete living experience for home seekers in the form of additional information about the neighbourhood, schools, malls, hospitals, parks and walking areas.
Quikr, which claims to be an extensive platform for people to connect with each other to buy or sell goods, has now enhanced its range of services to include cars, electronics, jobs and education.
Some of the options offered on Quikr Homes are - paying guest accommodation to luxury real estate projects, curated neighbourhood and lifestyle details, verified data about key establishments, integration with insights on other transactional activities across the platform, reviews and ratings of homes, expert blogs and pricing calculator engine.
Talking about the potential of the market, Manish Sinha, head of Quikr Homes, adds, "With Indian real estate marketing moving online to capture a $20 billion market, coupled with our cross-category platform, we are uniquely positioned to capture the market share for our homes vertical. Quikr already had the largest number of individual-led listings for real estate category, especially in the metros and had a very large number of real estate developers marketing their projects well before the idea of Quikr Homes was born."
Claiming to be the pioneer in the cross-category classifieds space since its inception in 2008, Quikr is used by over 30 million unique users per month. It recently launched Quikr Cars, a vertical sharply focussed on all kinds of automobiles. It claims to be present in 1000 cities in India and operates in over 10 categories that include mobile phones, household goods, cars, real estate, jobs, services and education.
