Ashish Pandit steps down as CEO of Zee Media Corp
Pandit had joined Zee Media in September last year.
Ashish Kirpal Pandit has resigned as an Executive Director & CEO of Zee Media Corporation Ltd (ZMCL). ZMCL is the umbrella group for news channels including Zee News, Zee Business as well as print publication DNA. Pandit had joined Zee in September 2014, replacing Samir Ahluwalia. Prior to Zee, he was with Digicall Global for three years.
With over 25 years experience, Pandit has been a senior management professional across sectors including telecom, retail, healthcare and FMCG. He has served as Chief Executive Officer for Fortis Health World, and as head of operations at Reliance Webworld. His other stints include Alcatel mobile phones and Tata Teleservices where he was Chief Operating Officer for Rajasthan and Haryana.
