Siju Prabhakaran to head Zee Tamil Business

Siju Prabhakaran is set to take over as business head, Zee Tamil. He replaces N S Easwaran who has decided to pursue his career outside Zee. Prabhakaran was earlier business head of Zee Kannada. An official statement says, "Prabhakaran has shown credible leadership in managing the Zee Kannada business. He has been with ZEEL (Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd) for over 15 years now, and has experience in sales as well."

Prabhakaran will now report to Punit Goenka, MD and CEO, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.

Elaborating on his new role, Prabhakaran says, "Tamil Nadu is a market with huge potential. This is one market where television viewing is a habit quite difficult to break. I'm look forward to bring the necessary changes to this habit that will benefit Zee Tamil and help us grow in leaps and bounds."
