According to Kapoor, being part of a young brand like Tinder is both exciting and challenging. "Tinder is already the market leader in the US without significant focussed efforts in the past, and the future potential here is astounding. I am thrilled to be given the responsibility to take this brand to India, which we all know is among the largest, most dynamic, and vibrant populations in the world," says Kapoor.

Kapoor, who holds an M Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi, also has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Harvard University, where she has been an active member of start-ups and the VC community. She has experience in business development, product and growth strategy, and financial modelling and planning.

Prior to this, Kapoor has worked with The Boston Consulting Group and Sequoia Capital India.

Launched in 2012, Tinder is a social app for meeting new people. In 2015, the company introduced Tinder Plus, giving users access to features such as Rewind and Passport.
