Rahul Kansal moves on from TOI

Kansal was executive president, Brand Function at The Times Group.

Rahul Kansal has resigned as executive president of Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd (BCCL), publisher of The Times of India. He had joined the company in 2007 as the chief marketing officer of the Group. Kansal was executive president since April 2012, and had looked after the brand and business strategy for The Times of India, the Mirror publications, and the company's language brands.

Prior to BCCL, Kansal was deputy managing director at Leo Burnett, before which he served as executive director at Mudra Communications. He was also the executive director at Ogilvy & Mather for four years before his stint at Mudra.
