TAM AdEx: Ready-made apparels advertising on TV surged by 121 per cent in Jan-Jun, 2015

Pantaloons Fashion and Retail was the top advertiser on radio, while Arvind Clothing featured in the list of the Top 10 advertisers across media.

TAM Media Research's division AdEx has provided an overview of the advertising ad volume in the ready-made apparels category, on different platforms, between January and June 2015, vis-a-viz January-June 2014. The report takes a look at advertising in television, print and radio, with the entire analysis based on ad volumes expressed in secondages or column centimetres. The figures should be taken only as indicative, and not absolute.

According to the report, television advertising for ready-made apparels surged by 121 per cent during January-June 2015 as compared to January-June 2014, to grab 67 per cent share of ad insertions by this category.

Across mediums, the monthly advertising trend for ready-made apparels reported the highest variations on radio with maximum share (34 per cent) in January 2015 and minimum share (6 per cent) in March 2015.

Pantaloons Fashion and Retail was the top advertiser on radio, while Arvind Clothing made it to the list of Top 10 advertisers on all three platforms. Ramraj Genxt Velcro Dhoties, Jet Lycot Readymades and Allen Solly Wimbledon Line were the top new brands on TV, radio, and print, respectively.
