The ayurvedic company has tied up with the healthcare and medical needs platform to sell FMCG products in Delhi.
Pluss, the medicine and healthcare products delivery service, has entered into a partnership with yoga guru Baba Ramdev-promoted Patanjali Ayurved for the Delhi market. Patanjali's range of FMCG products, including staples, groceries, nutrition, hair care, skin care, dental care and toiletries, will be now sold through the Pluss App across Delhi.
The Delhi-based Pluss was incorporated in 2015 by Atit Jain, Madhulika Pandey and Tarun Lawadi after witnessing the lacunae in the country's largely unorganised health care industry. In a country where everything including groceries and food are delivered at the doorstep in a short span of time, the problem of timely medicine delivery remained unattended.
Through its own fleet of delivery executives known as 'Pluss Men', Pluss delivers medicines and healthcare products at the customer's doorstep. The online company has four primary product categories -- baby care, pet care, personal wellness and daily essentials, which are further divided into subcategories.
Patanjali Ayurved started off in 1997 as a small pharmacy in Haridwar. Today, it manufactures around 800 different products across categories including nutrition, grocery, healthcare, medicine, home and personal care. Besides these, products in categories such as baby care, chocolate/confectionery (Patanjali Energy Bar) and health drinks (Power Vita) are ready to be launched as well.
Patanjali's products are available in standalone stores, as well as in modern retail format stores such as Big Bazaar, Reliance Retail, Spencer's Retail, HyperCITY and SRS Retail. They're also available at Patanjali's Swadeshi Kendras, Arogya Kendras and its online store.
