Shemaroo Entertainment, the integrated media content house, has roped in Kaushal Nanavati as vice-president -- International Business. Nanavati will be responsible for driving the company's business across international markets, and scale up Shemaroo's international business on television, as well as digital platforms.
Before joining Shemaroo Entertainment, Nanavati was with Disney India as director - International Distribution and Syndication. Prior to that, he worked with several other media companies including UTV and Zee Telefilms. With an experience of 18 years, of which more than 15 years has been in the television space, he has handled duties in the international channel distribution, content syndication, and domestic distribution areas.
Founded in 1962, Shemaroo Entertainment is an Indian film and entertainment content house, which handles content ownership, creation, aggregation, and distribution, with a content library of over 3,000 titles. Shemaroo is engaged in the distribution of content for satellite channels, physical formats and emerging digital technologies like the mobile, internet, broadband, IPTV and DTH. The company has also tied up with many content providers across the country.
