TAM AdEx: Milk beverages advertising on TV grew by 66 per cent in January-June 2015

TAM Media Research's AdEx division has provided an overview of the advertising ad volume for the milk beverages category, on different platforms, for the period January-June 2015. The report looks at advertising in television, print and radio, with the entire analysis based on ad volumes expressed in secondages or column centimetres. The figures should be taken only as indicative, and not absolute.


According to the report, advertising for milk beverages on radio and TV saw a growth of 76 per cent and 66 per cent, respectively, during January-June 2015 as compared to January-June 2014. Advertising in print decreased by 12 per cent in the same period.

Smithkline Beecham topped the advertisers' list across all three mediums. Boost's Hey Champ Stay Champ was among the top five new brands on both TV and radio.

Tamil Nadu contributed the maximum share (35 per cent) in radio advertising, followed by Delhi with 15 per cent share.
