Dillan Barmache finds his voice in Apple Inc.'s two-minute short film titled 'Dillan's Voice', which was released on April 2, celebrated this year as World Autism Awareness Day. The film is a moving tale of a 16-year-old teen who felt angry and frustrated at being singled out as 'challenged' by people around him. No one could understand his thoughts and the way he communicated with them.
Apple's iPad came to the hassled teen's rescue and helped him express his thoughts and emotions by letting him type them out on the iPad and then read out loud with the help of an augmentative and alternative communication device.
The film goes on to depict how he successfully delivers his graduation speech thanks to the iPad. Created by TBWAMedia Arts Lab, the film was uploaded on Apple's YouTube channel on April 2, has already garnered over three million views so far. First Published : April 06, 2016
