Vodafone makes a splash on Twitter with ZooZoo emoji

The telecom company claims to have created 90 million emoji impressions since its launch two days ago.

ZooZoo continues to be Vodafone's most-loved brand mascot and is now available in an emoji avatar as well. The telecom giant has partnered with Twitter to launch the ZooZoo emoji, linking it with #BeSuper and #HakkeBakke hashtags to build on the IPL fervour. The emoji of the Super ZooZoo appeared next to the #BeSuper and #HakkeBakke hashtag in any tweet sent worldwide.

Vodafone claims that the emoji has created 90 million impressions on Twitter in two days since its launch on April 25.

We are proud to partner with Vodafone to introduce ZooZoo to Twitter as the first brand emoji for India this cricket season."

Twitter has teamed with select brands since late 2015 to co-create the branded emojis including the government's Twitter emoji #MakeInIndia. Its association with Vodafone India marks the beginning of India's first corporate brand emoji launch.
