Twitter introduces #stickers on its micro-blogging site

Users can now browse Twitter's rotating set of stickers to join in on real-time conversations, and select from the library of hundreds of accessories, emojis, and props to make the photos more fun.

The micro-blogging social media platform Twitter announced the introduction of stickers on June 27, 2016. "We are excited to introduce #Stickers, a fun new way to add creativity to your photos and connect them to the world on Twitter," announced Twitter through a media statement.

Users can now browse Twitter's rotating set of stickers to join in on real-time conversations, and select from the library of hundreds of accessories, emojis, and props to make the photos more fun.

The stickers have been introduced in order to make tweets more conversational and have more visual appeal in a fun way. "The stickers can be used to share what you're doing, how you're feeling, to show support for a cause, or to just add some flair. You can use multiple stickers on a photo, resize and rotate them, and place them anywhere on your picture," informs the media statement.

"The ability to add stickers to your photos will be rolled out over the next few weeks for those who use Twitter for iOS and Android. You will also be able to view and click stickers on Twitter.com. #Stickers joins the suite of photo-editing features on Twitter, including filters, tags, cropping, and accessibility options," the media statement further informs.
