Dentsu Creative Impact wins digital mandate for Maruti Suzuki

The team, along with its digital partner agency Isobar India, will now handle digital creative, social, as well as media duties for Maruti Suzuki corporate, and all model brands other than the Nexa portfolio.

Following a multi-agency pitch, Dentsu Creative Impact, a brand of the Dentsu Aegis Network, along with its digital partner agency Isobar India, has bagged the digital mandate for Maruti Suzuki. For the record, the agency had won the creative duties for a range of Maruti Suzuki brands last year.

The Dentsu Aegis Network team will now handle digital creative, social, and media duties for Maruti Suzuki corporate, and for all model brands other than the Nexa portfolio.

Speaking on the development, Sanjeev Handa, vice-president, marketing, Maruti Suzuki India, says, "Our partnership with Dentsu Aegis Network on the digital mandate is a strategic one since we wanted to have an integrated and synergistic approach towards it. The idea behind having Dentsu Aegis Network as our creative partner in offline is to have a coherent communication strategy in order to be more productive and efficient."

Digital, as a medium, has become increasingly important for Maruti Suzuki, given the changing media consumption behaviour of consumers, necessitating the need for a paradigm shift in digital thinking and delivery. With this win, Dentsu Creative Impact will be in a position to address two key focal points for Maruti Suzuki - deliver integrated brand solutions, and infuse a layer of brand vision to the digital delivery.
