GEC Watch: Star Plus and Zee Anmol continue to be No.1 channels in the urban, rural markets, in Week 27

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya replaced Star Plus' Ye Hai Mohabbatein as the most-watched show in the urban market while Zee Anmol's Jodha Akbar remained the most-watched show in the rural market.

GEC Watch: Star Plus and Zee Anmol continue to be No.1 channels in the urban, rural markets, in Week 27

In Week 27 of BARC's viewership data for the urban market, Star Plus maintained its lead as the No.1 channel despite a decrease in viewership with 459294 Impressions compared to 466938 Impressions in Week 26.

Colors was at No.2 position, with an increase in viewership with 435791 Impressions compared to 429036 Impressions last week.

Zee TV continued to be at No.3 position with a marginal increase in the ratings with 328823 Impressions compared to 323472 Impressions last week.

At No.4 was Sony SAB with 257375 Impressions compared to 265434 Impressions last week.

At No.5 was Sony Entertainment Television with 256479 Impressions, after missing out to make it to the list of the top five channels in the urban market last week.

As far as the rural data is concerned, Zee Anmol continued to be at No.1 position with 369297 Impressions despite losing viewership (Last week: 401267 Impressions).

Star Utsav was at No.2 position with 354191 Impressions compared to 364616 Impressions last week.

Sony Pal was at No.3 position with a decrease in viewership with 300979 Impressions from last week's 342335 Impressions.

Zee TV was at No.4 position with 255580 Impressions compared to 264101 Impressions last week.

Star Plus was at No.5 position with a viewership of 218654 Impressions, after missing out to make it to the list of the top five channels in the rural market last week.

Top five shows in Hindi GECs (Urban)

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya, became the most-watched show, jumping to No.1 spot with an average viewership of 7545 (Last week: 6622)

Colors' Kavach, for the first time, made it to the list of most-watched shows and was at No.2 with a viewership of 7176.

Star Plus' Ye Hai Mohabbatein was at No.3 position with an average viewership of 6518 (Last week: 6643).

Star Plus' Dance + Season 2 made it to No.4 position with an average viewership of 5915 after missing out in last week's list of top five shows.

Colors' Kasam made it to No.5 position with an average viewership of 5734 after missing in the list last week.

Zee Anmol's Jodha Akbar remained the No.1 watched show with an average viewership of 7686 (Last week: 7117).

Zee Anmol's Bandini remained at No.2 position this week with an average viewership of 6198 (Last week: 5668).

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya was at No.3 position with an average viewership of 5950(Last Week: 4875).

Zee Anmol's Kasam Hai Tujhe Aa Bhi Ja was at No.4 position with an average viewership of 4191 (Last week: 4037).

Zee TV's Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani was at No.5 position with an average viewership of 3956 (Last week: 4030).
