GEC Watch: Star Plus and Zee Anmol continue to be No.1 channels in the urban and rural markets in Week 28

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya and Zee Anmol's Jodha Akbar remained the most-watched shows in the urban and rural markets, respectively.

In Week 28 of BARC's viewership data for the urban market, Star Plus maintained its lead as the No.1 channel with 482054 Impressions, an increase in its viewership as compared to 459294 Impressions in Week 27.

Colors was at No.2 position, with 409365 Impressions, registered a decline in its viewership as compared to 435791 Impressions last week.

Zee TV maintained its No.3 position with a marginal increase in the ratings with 334037 Impressions compared to 328823 Impressions last week.

Sony Entertainment Television jumped one place up from No.5 to No.4 position with 277843 Impressions compared to 256479 Impressions last week.

Life Ok made it to No.5 position with 268809 Impressions, after missing out to make it to the list of the most-watched channels last week.

As far as the rural data is concerned, despite losing viewership, Zee Anmol continued to be at No.1 position with 358649 Impressions, having declined from last week's 369297 Impressions.

Star Utsav was at No.2 position with 333048 Impressions compared to 354191 Impressions last week.

Sony Pal was at No.3 position with a viewership of 301028 Impressions. (Last week: 300979 Impressions)

Zee TV was at No.4 position with 263056 Impressions compared to 255580 Impressions last week.

Star Plus was at No.5 position with a viewership of 238011 Impressions (Last week: 218654).

Top five shows in Hindi GECs (Urban)

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya, remained the most-watched show at the No.1 spot, with an average viewership of 7428 (Last week: 7545)

Star Plus' Ye Hai Mohabbatein jumped to No.2 position with an average viewership of 6760 (Last week: 6518).

Sony Entertainment Television's The Kapil Sharma Show made it to the list of top-watched shows after missing out in last week's list, and was at No.3 with an average viewership of 6168.

Colors' Kasam jumped to No.4 position from No.5 with an average viewership of 5984 (Last Week: 5734).

Star Plus' Ye Hai Mohabbatein was at No.5 position with an average viewership of 5896 after missing out in last week's list of top five shows.

Zee Anmol's Jodha Akbar remained the No.1 watched show despite a loss in viewership with 6936 (Last week: 7686).

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya jumped to No.2 position with an average viewership of 6221 (Last Week: 5950).

Zee Anmol's Bandini was at No.3 position this week with an average viewership of 5509 (Last week: 6198).

Zee Anmol's Kasam Hai Tujhe Aa Bhi Ja was at No.4 position with an average viewership of 4152 (Last week: 4191).

Zee TV's Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani was at No.5 position with an average viewership of 4055 (Last week: 3956).
