GEC Watch: Star Plus and Star Utsav continue to be the No.1 channels in the urban and rural markets for Week 30

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya remained the most-watched show in both the urban and rural markets.

In Week 30 of BARC's viewership data for the urban market, Star Plus continued to lead as the No.1 channel despite a decrease in viewership with 468778 Impressions compared to 478215 Impressions in Week 29.

Colors at No.2 position, lost considerable viewership with 372710 Impressions compared to 414701 Impressions last week.

Zee TV maintained its No.3 position with 337113 Impressions compared to 356423 Impressions last week.

Life Ok was at No.4 position with 280748 Impressions compared to last week's 287242 Impressions.

Sony Entertainment Television made it to No.5 position with 276553 Impressions after missing out to make it to the Top 5 list of most-watched channels last week.

As far as the rural data is concerned, Star Utsav continued to be the No.1 channel in Week 30 with 376906 Impressions compared to 348824 Impressions last week.

Zee Anmol was at No.2 position with 362250 Impressions compared to last week's 329641 Impressions.

Sony Pal was at No.3 position with a viewership of 309097 Impressions, down from last week's 313911 Impressions.

Zee TV was at No.4 position with 274163 Impressions compared to 280475 Impressions last week.

Rishtey jumped to No.5 position with a viewership of 218429 Impressions after missing out to make it to the Top 5 list of most-watched channels last week.

Top five shows in Hindi GECs (Urban)

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya continued to be the most-watched show and was at the No.1 spot with an average viewership of 7719 (Last week: 7521)

Star Plus' Ye Hai Mohabbatein was at No.2 position with an average viewership of 6005 (Last week: 6945).

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai jumped to No.3 position from No.4, with an average viewership of 5707 (Last Week: 5807).

Sony Entertainment Television's The Kapil Sharma Show, made it to the list of top-watched shows after missing out in the list last week. It was at No.4 position, with an average viewership of 5639.

Sony SAB's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah made it to the list of top-watched shows, and was at No.5 position with an average viewership of 5389.

Top five shows in Hindi GECs (Rural)

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya jumped to No.1 position in the rural market with an average viewership of 6468 (Last Week: 5970).

Zee Anmol's Jodha Akbar was at No.2 position with an average viewership of 6414 (Last week: 6542).

Zee Anmol's Bandini was at No.3 position with an average viewership of 6141 (Last week: 5733).

Zee Anmol's yet another programme, Kasam Hai Tujhe Aa Bhi Jaa, made it to the list of top-watched shows after missing out in the list last week. It was at No.4 position, with an average viewership of 4894.

Star Utsav's Saath Nibhaana Saathiya remained at No.5 position, with an average viewership of 4474 (Last week: 4269).
