The Brand Owners' Summit, a platform to share lessons and brand building mantras by brand creators and experts, is back in its 10th edition. The summit is to be held in the Crowne Plaza, Gurgaon, on August 24.
The day-long event will see sessions from eminent marketing heads and brand builders such as Sanjeev Handa (Maruti Suzuki India) on the topic 'One out of two: The Maruti Suzuki story', Anisha Motwani (author of Storm the Norm) on 'Why have consumers fallen in love with Patanjali', Shashank Surana (DS Group) on '10 reasons behind the Pulse phenomenon', Sachin Bhalla (Luminous Power Technologies) on 'All charged up - Brand Luminous', Sudipto Chowdhuri (India TV) on 'What makes IndiaTV unavoidable in any media plan and makes competition jittery', Rajat Gandhi (Faircent) on 'What makes Faircent India's largest peer-to-peer platform', and Ajay Gahlaut (Ogilvy & Mather) on 'The magic of Advertising'.
The event, organised by afaqs!, and presented by India TV will start with a session on brand building and marketing ideas. A panel discussion on the topic 'Competition or Market Creation: Which is a bigger challenge? ' will be held with leading start-ups of Delhi. The panelists include Abhiraj Bhal (UrbanClap), Sameer Grover (Crownit), Vikas Chauhan (1mg), and Aditi Balbir (V Resorts).
