The association is meant to enrich the comedy portfolio of the OTT app.

With the aim to strengthen its comedy offerings, YuppTV, an OTT (over-the-top) player in South-Asian content, has partnered with Comedy Munch, a company that aggregates video content.

The association is meant to enrich the comedy portfolio of YuppTV Bazaar, by introducing a range of comedy videos, including stand-up performances, prank videos, funny movie scenes, comedy news, and digital series.

Speaking on the alliance, Udaynandan Reddy, founder and CEO, YuppTV, says in a press release, "Comedy, as a genre, is really popular among the users. We are glad to partner with Comedy Munch and host its excellent collection of comedy content on our Bazaar platform. We are hopeful that this new addition will humour our Bazaar users."

Comedy Munch will enrich the comedy portfolio of YuppTV in Hindi, English, Tamil, Punjabi, and Gujarati, with performances from comedians such as Raju Srivastava, Sudesh Lahiri, Amit Tandon, Nitin Gupta, and Jeeveshu.

Anuj Sehgal, director and founder, Comedy Munch, says in a press release, "The alliance gives us a much larger footprint of viewers across the globe. With our catalogue of regional, as well as Hinglish comedy, we are ready to serve the needs of the urban and rural population alike."
