GEC Watch: Star Plus and Zee Anmol retain their No.1 slots in Week 35

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya and Zee Anmol's Jodha Akbar remain the most watched shows in the urban and rural markets respectively.

In Week 35 of BARC's viewership data for the urban market, Star Plus continued to lead as the No.1 channel with 508814 Impressions compared to 495798 Impressions in Week 34.

Colors remained at No.2 position with 368875 Impressions versus 375070 Impressions last week. Zee TV maintained its No.3 position with 341759 Impressions compared to 327556 Impressions last week.

Sony Sab was at No.4 position with 280193 Impressions compared to 275934 Impressions last week, while Sony Entertainment Television came in fifth with 272945 Impressions after earlier missing out on this list of most watched channels.

As far as the rural data is concerned, Zee Anmol continued to remain the No.1 channel in week 35 with 395901 Impressions compared to 407790 Impressions from last week.

Star Utsav was at No.2 position with 332806 Impressions (last week at 395490 Impressions), while Sony Pal was at No.3 position with a viewership of 290193 Impressions, with its previous week clocking 315483 Impressions.

Zee TV was at No.4 position with 256256 Impressions compared to 249760 Impressions in the previous week, while Star Plus was at No.5 position with a viewership of 253005 Impressions versus 236504 Impressions in Week 34.

Top five shows in Hindi GECs (Urban)

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya, remained the most watched show and was at No.1 spot with an average viewership of 7455 (Last week: 7277)

Star Plus' Saath Nibhana Saathiya maintained its No.2 position with an average viewership of 7086 (Last week: 6346).

Zee TV's Brahmarakshas – Jaag Utha Shaitan jumped to No.3 position with an average viewership of 6584 after missing out on list of most watched shows in the previous week.

Colors' Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, maintained its No.4 position with an average viewership of 6382(Last week: 5981)

Sony SAB's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah made it to the top watched shows after missing out last week and was at No.5 position with an average viewership of 6370.

Zee Anmol's Jodha Akbar remained the most watched shows at No.1 position with an average viewership of 6323 (Last week: 5936).

Zee Anmol's Bandini was No.2 position with an average viewership of 5821 (Last week: 5580), while its Kasam Hai Tujhe Aa Bhi Ja jumped to the third position with an average viewership of 5683(Last week: 5053).

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya was at No.4 position with an average viewership of 5180 (Last Week: 4984), while Star Utsav's Saath Nibhaana Saathiya was at No.5 position with an average viewership of 5126 (Last week: 5470).
