Pradeep Dwivedi has recently joined Sakal Media Group as chief executive officer and will be handling group's media business. He recently quit Dainik Bhaskar Group as chief corporate sales and marketing officer.
Confirming the appointment, Abhijit Pawar, managing director, Sakal Media Group, says in a press release, "We are excited to have Pradeep Dwivedi joining us as CEO. His exemplary leadership credentials and relationships across multiple industries and deep understanding of media business will be an asset in driving our growth."
He adds, "This is also in alignment with our group vision of sustainable, equitable and measurable socio economic growth and transformation through all its businesses, and I am looking forward to working with him"
Commenting on his new role, Dwivedi, says in a press release, "The Indian media space is very dynamic with transformation of traditional media businesses in a digital era while retaining the trust and affinity of core legacy audience too. There is also enhanced need to develop innovative impact solutions for advertisers and content partners. This provides enormous opportunities to lead large-scale transformations and creation of value."

Dwivedi would be based in Mumbai and Pune in his new role. He would also work very closely with other initiatives of the group led independently by seasoned business leaders such as Delivering Change Foundation projects including YIN - Young Inspirators Network, Tanishka Foundation, Global Inspirators Network in building community networks and delivering Smart Village / Smart City projects.
Dwivedi has an experience of over 23 years of B2B as well as B2C management, cutting across functions and industries. He has wide-based expertise in Sales & marketing, service delivery, risk operations and business management, across media, telecommunications, banking and financial services and automotive industry domains.
