Singh, who will report into Bhargava, brings with her extensive experience in running a market-leading digital business, coupled with the necessary skills and persona to lead iProspect India into the next stage of its evolution as India's leading performance marketing agency. Under her leadership, iProspect India aims to achieve its goal of becoming the advisor of choice to its clients (both new and existing), help them navigate the ever-changing digital world and achieve maximum possible return on investment based on their marketing spends.

Prior to iProspect India, Singh was COO, 'moneycontrol.com' for over three years, wherein she spearheaded business strategy, marketing, sales, operations, and profit and loss. Earlier, in her 12-year stint with Network18, she has held various senior positions across its print and TV properties including Forbes India, CNBC TV18, CNBC Awaaz, CNN News 18 and News18 India. Before joining Network 18, Singh spent four years at Star TV India, where she helped build recognition for Star News in the highly cluttered Hindi news space.

Expressing her views on the new role, Singh says, "This is an exciting time for India in general, and the Indian marketing and media industry in particular. Digital India is coming of age, and the Indian government has clearly demonstrated its firm intent to take the country into the digital era. The Aadhar stack is unique to India, and gives over a 1000 million Indians a unique digital identity. The ever-increasing internet penetration through smart phones and government's push to get people to start transacting digitally through smartphones is a game changer. To me, the macro and micro trends of India becoming a truly digitally interconnected nation of over a billion people are now converging. This will have huge ramifications for businesses and how they connect with their customers. Having spent time in both print as well as TV media, I think the shift in allocation of media spends from traditional to digital will happen faster than thought before."

Commenting on the new appointment, Bhargava says, "I am delighted to have (Rubeena) Singh join the iProspect India family and extend a warm welcome to her. The digital performance industry in India has progressed from being used merely for acquisitions to now being a medium for brand communication. Her vast experience in all three media formats - broadcast, print and digital - will give iProspect India a competitive advantage as the performance industry makes this transition. Moreover, having Singh lead iProspect India will allow me to launch the other performance brands of Dentsu Aegis Media in India."
