August Communications appoints Suman Roy as CEO and Partner

In a recent announcement, August Communications has appointed Suman Roy as chief executive officer and partner. He was previously the business director at Brand Bazooka Advertising.

Roy will be working closely with Manish Bhatt, founder-director of August Communications. He will be based out of Delhi. This is his second stint at the agency. Previously Roy had worked with the agency for four years; from 2011 to 2015.

Commenting on Roy's appointment, Bhatt says in a press release, "Suman is a great manager and works well with teams. We are pleased to have him on the team once again in a much bigger role, because we strongly felt it was time to shift gears as we enter the second decade of our operations."

Roy will be handling new business development and strategy functions as well as managing client-agency relationship.

Commenting on his new role, Roy says in a press release, "Additionally, I would like to grow the digital division of August Communications, since I strongly believe that's where brand communication is headed."
