Discovery Communications appoints TS Panesar to lead DSPORT

Discovery Communications has roped in former chief executive officer, Hathway Video Business, TS Panesar as the head of its sports broadcasting channel DSPORT.

He will be responsible for content acquisition and monetisation.

DSPORT was launched earlier this year in February, Discovery Communications marked its entry in the sports broadcasting scenario with the launch of the channel.
