Panasonic launches Eluga RAY500 – your perfect Diwali companion

Equipped with dual rear camera and expandable storage upto 128GB, Panasonic's Eluga RAY500 makes for a perfect Diwali gift.

Diwali, a Hindu festival that is known to be a harbinger of happiness and prosperity, also brings with itself a chance to be with your loved ones - family, friends, and relatives. It is that time of the year when people visit their homes to celebrate, exchange presents, and spend quality time with those who matter the most to them. From decorations to food, everything is special and in abundance during the festival. Consequently, in India, Diwali is more than just a festival and thus, what possibly makes for a perfect gift this Diwali is something that is special in itself.

Panasonic, a multinational electronics corporation, has recently rolled its Diwali-themed video campaign for Eluga RAY500.

The advertisement starts with a backdrop of Diwali celebration where a girl is attempting to set fire to a sky-rocket when suddenly her brother plays a prank to scare her. She screams in fear and the people around capture her pictures in the embarrassing gesture. She adorably complains to her mother about the prank which is when her brother presents a gift to her. Much to her surprise, the gift is a Panasonic Eluga RAY500.

Highlighting the features of the phone like video calling on HD display screen, the ad furthers the idea of togetherness during the festival. This reiterates the core proposition of the ad about the phone being a great Diwali companion; the mother uses the video calling feature to speak to her son who couldn't be at home during Diwali because he had work duties to fulfill.

The narrative in Piyush Mishra's voice about the essence of the festival and celebration touches the heart; the poetic quotes setting the tone for the advertisement.

Panasonic Eluga RAY500 is a sleek smartphone which is designed to fit right in your hand. One super feature of the phone is its dual camera that lets you shoot like a pro – The rear camera is a dual-camera setup of 13MP and 8MP with the latter shooting at 120-degree ultra-wide angle. The 5MP front facing camera lets you take amazing selfies. The sleek and smart looking phone is available in three stunning colors – Mocha Gold, Marine Blue, and Champagne Gold.

The phone has a 5 inch HD display screen (2.5 D curved) where you can enjoy crystal clear view while you watch movies, TV series, and a lot more in HD quality. The phone has a battery that will have your back. The 4000 mAh battery lets you use your phone for long hours without running out of charge. The phone has Android version 7.0 with 3 GB RAM and 32GB ROM – which is expandable up to 128GB. This mighty space is something you can really count on when using the phone, making it a perfect companion for the long Diwali photo sessions. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor.

Brilliantly curated, crafted, and executed, the campaign rightly captures the spirit of celebration and gifting on Diwali. The ad film has a fun tone and is likely to resonate with the viewers to create a lingering impact. It also presents Eluga RAY500 as a great gifting option because it's special as the festival. Kyuki Diwali sirf ek tyohaar nahi and panasonic smartphone sirf ek phone nahi - sounds like a match?
