Ex-Grey hand Alok Agrawal to join Enterprise Nexus, Delhi

Alok Agrawal, who put in his papers a few days ago as associate vice-president, Grey Worldwide, Delhi, is slated to join Enterprise Nexus as branch head

Alok Agrawal, who put in his papers a few days ago as associate vice-president, Grey Worldwide, Delhi, is slated to join Enterprise Nexus as branch head in October. He will succeed Sundeep Kumar, who is now director, corporate affairs, Godfrey Philips India. Agrawal is not ready to discuss his mandate at Enterprise Nexus. That, of course, will be clear once an official announcement to this effect is made at the agency.

This appointment will bring to an end agency honcho Mohammed Khan's hunt for a branch head after Sundeep Kumar quit some time ago. On his part, Agrawal began his career in advertising with Grey, Bangalore, in 1993. Five years later, he moved to Delhi and joined Euro RSCG as group account director. He worked at Euro RSCG for a year and then moved to Grey, Delhi, as general manager. He quits Grey as second-in-command to Ashutosh Khanna, senior vice-president, Grey Worldwide.

While the hunt for a suitable branch head was on, Mohammed Khan, chairman, was working at strengthening his senior team in Delhi. Lokesh Tiwari, who has been with Enterprise Nexus for 14 years, has been elevated to the position of vice-president from general manager. Ex-O&M hand Sumeet Chatterjee is slated to join the agency as general manager on October 1. Sandeep Madan, who joined the agency some seven months ago, shares the same designation. As agency insiders indicate, "the recruitment of Agrawal, in a way, makes the senior team complete". © 2003 agencyfaqs!
