Debraj Tripathy takes LS Krishnan's place as general manager Maxus

As part of redeployment of resources at GroupM, Debraj Tripathy has moved to MAXUS Delhi as general manager. He was heading MindShare Fulcrum's Bangalore office.

And, LS Krishnan, who was general manager of MAXUS Delhi, is being transferred to GroupM's BroadMind division in Mumbai to work on special projects in the areas of programming.

While Krishnan will take up his new assignment on September 2004, Tripathy's appointment came into effect on Monday.

Tripathy will be reporting to MAXUS managing director, CVL Srinivas, and will be responsible for the Delhi operations of MAXUS.

Tripathy an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, joined his first agency, O&M Bangalore in 1994. There he worked on Brooke Bond and IBM. Three years hence, in 1997, he moved to the Mumbai office of O&M. HLL, Asian Paints, Cadburys were some of the accounts Tripathy was handling in Mumbai.
