Danone India appoints Himanshu Bakshi as interim MD

Danone India has appointed Himanshu Bakshi as interim managing director with effect from September 1, 2018. Rodrigo Lima, the former managing director, Danone India has moved to Australia as managing director early life nutrition, Australia and New Zealand.

Bakshi who has been with Danone India for more than five years, previously held the position of director – marketing. Bakshi joined the company in August 2013 as director marketing – nutrition. In June 2015, he was promoted as director – marketing and commercial operations. In August 2017, he was elevated to director – marketing.

Prior to joining Danone India, Bakshi worked with Reckitt Benckiser for five years. Before that he worked with PepsiCo for close to five years. In the past, he has also worked with Dabur India.
