Hotstar appoints Gulshan Verma as SVP and head, clients and agency

In a recent development, Hotstar, the over the top (OTT) platform by Star India has appointed Gulshan Verma as senior vice president and head, clients and agency. Previously, Verma worked with Times Internet as chief revenue officer for two years.

Before joining Times Internet, Verma worked with Outbrain as general manager, India and South East Asia. Prior to that, he worked with Komli Media as chief revenue officer. Before that, he worked with Yahoo as director sales strategy.

In the past, Verma has worked with Ernst & Young, McKinsey & Co., International Management Group and Associated Press.
