To coincide with Vijayadashmi, Amrita TV has lined up programmes for its audiences across the world on Sunday,October 21.
Amrita TV's Mobile Uplink Unit manned by a crew of 20 will be travelling nearly 800 kms from Trivandrum to Karnataka to relay a Live Telecast of Vijayadashmi celebrations at the famous Mookhambika Temple(8.30 am).
The exclusive telecast for the day starts with a an hour-long edition of Amrita TV's programme "Udayamritham " which covers the famous centuries-old Panachikadu Saraswati Temple at Kottayam ,known as Kerala's Mookhambika(6.30 am).
In both these places of worship, a unique feature is the ceremonial initiation of children into writing at the feet of the goddess of learning ,Saraswati.
Another special edition of the programme, "Jeevadhara" focuses on the various aspects of knowledge ,children and learning, which will be aired at 8 am
Amrita TV is also premiering on the mini-screen, the unique Malayalam movie ,"Nottam" featuring veteran actors like Nedumudi Venu,Jagathy Sreekumar , Samvrita,Sunil and Koodiattam maestro ,Margi Sathi, with memorable music by M.Jayachandran ."Nottam will be telecast at 3.30 pm
During the evening,the channel will be airing a special Anthakshari programme comprising "Super Stars" of Amrita Reality Shows (7 pm)
