Anil Kapoor re-kindles 90's Nostalgia on JJhoom India

Anil Kapoor may be past his prime of the Tezaab, Eshwar era of the 90’s, but his enthusiasm and equity within the masses is still remarkable. Anil, always known as a smart marketer, is also using the Celebrity Guest on Musical Reality Celebrity Shows route to maximize his presence in media to hype the string of movies. His latest appearance is on the JJhoom India episode, where he struck the nostalgia chord with the crowd, and all just flowed along.

The 'Jjhoom India' Jodis belted out 90’s songs of Anil Kapoor’s movies enthralling the jury, audiences alike because most of his movies had chart-busting music in the 90’s. Anil was humble and as entertaining as ever, and he broke into songs and danced with the performing Jodis in his legendary pelvic-thrusting fashion. The participants got Anil Kapoor to even render his Jhakaas.

Anil Kapoor’s nostalgia of the nineties engulfed 'Jjhoom India' when Sudesh Bhonsale started singing Anandji’s songs. A visibly proud Anandji came and sang and danced along with Anil Kapoor and all the six Jodis on stage, as a celebration of the music of the nineties took all over.

After 'No Entry', Anil Kapoor’s next release is 'Welcome' playing a Don, followed by a whole line-up of big movies like 'Race', 'Black & White', 'Tashan' and 'Yuvraj'. Anil Kapoor’s inimitable style and versatile roles in movies like Ram Lakhan were just waiting to be relived and relished all over again on JJhoom India sets.

The Anchor Rahul Vaidya, seemed to be stirring things up a little through out the Anil Kapoor episode, he performed his first performance on JJhoom India singing 'Main to gaya re'. It was a treat to see the brilliant performance from the Indian Idol finalist. He showcased the versatility of his vocal chords and his impromptu improvisation towards the end to enthrall everyone on the sets. Rahul, who has only seldom, share jokes with his sizzling co-host Sucheta Anand also has taken a radically new avatar.

Mdhushree had a big surprise for Anil Kapoor, she was such a huge fan of Anil Kapoor, that she fell in love with a man who looked very similar to Anil and she pointed her husband out in the show to prove the semblance.

Rahul seems to have decided to spice up things on JJhoom India. He also performed a rap for the viewers and live audiences asking them to vote for their favourite Jodis. He also pulled up a surprise on the mentor Akriti Kakar, blessed equally with beauty and talent, by going down on his knees, breaking into a shayri in her honour and giving her a rose.

Meanwhile the lowest-scoring Jodi of Mrinal Kulkarni and Sudesh Bhonsale’s 'Jay Jay Shiv Shankar' was sharply reprimanded for her poor performance. The Jodi No. 1 again is Sachin Tyagi and Madhushree who got a top score of 26 points with 'Saki Saki'.
