Amit Dey joins Axis APM as CEO

Axis APM, a pioneer in providing personal media services in India, has appointed Amit Dey as the Chief Executive Officer. Coming into the company with a telecom background, Mr. Dey's major focus would be to bring new trends in the company along with overseeing business development.

Amit began his career in 1990 with Tata Motors as a trainee and then moved to Siemens. A Post Graduate from IIM Kolkata, Amit joined OnMobile in 2000, an Infosys incubated mobile services startup. During his stay at OnMobile he helped it grow into a multi-million dollar business from scratch partnering with all national telecom operators in India in VAS. He also identified and built new business with International operators.

Amit has created several products and solutions for telecom operators like Ringback Tone (which turned around fortune of the company and redefined the MVAS industry). He has a wide range of experience with International telecom operators covering BRIC countries as well developed countries in Europe.

On his appointment Mr. Pradeep Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, Axis APM said "At Axis APM, we put our people first.
