Airtel Independence Rock XXIII hits the road with the Grand Finals at Chitrakoot Grounds

40 bands, 5 cities & zillions of ecstatic fans, the stage is all set for India’s biggest rock phenomenon, in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and it will make its presence in Pune & Kolkata this year for the first time ever. Airtel Independence Rock XXIII will kick off in Kolkata on July 31st & Aug 1st 2008 with gigs at The Apartment, followed by Delhi, Pune, Bangalore and Mumbai.
Grand Finals will be held on the 30th of August at the Chitrakoot Grounds in Mumbai and will feature the winning bands from each city finals & pro bands like Demonic Resurrection & Super Fuzz.
The Finale will also feature pro bands like Agni, Faith, Hip Pocket & Scribe on the 31st of August.
The winners of the grand finals will then be showcased in each city in the form of a national Victory Lap.
