afaqs! was established on September 28, 1999 with a simple objective - to make easier the lives of professionals in advertising, media and marketing by fulfilling their information needs. That quest has turned afaqs! into India's largest site in its space.
Originally agencyfaqs!, the site was rebranded afaqs! in May 2008. A trusted name in business, 'afaqs!' is used as a prefix for all the company's ventures to establish a common identity.
afaqs! has organised many annual events such as The Future of News, 101 Markets, Mobile Conversations and the Agency & Media Cricket League.
afaqs! Reporter, The fortnightly for marketing communications (2005)
Following the success of afaqs!, the company launched a print magazine that would capture the essence of news in advertising, media and marketing every fortnight. In spite of the crowded space, afaqs! Reporter earns more revenue per issue than any competing title.
'The Mobile Indian' earlier afaqs! Telecom Yatra (2009)
The company ventured outside advertising and media in October 2009 with afaqs! Telecom Yatra, a complete B2B site for India's booming telecom industry. In January, 2011 it took a new avatar and was re-named as 'The Mobile Indian'. The new website entered the promising mobile B2C space and now provides latest news/ reviews on handsets, applications, games and developments on voice, VAS, technology and allied sectors.
More than that, it is a community site for mobile related consumers and telecom professionals to interact by sharing their views, taking tips and reading about new launches and the latest offerings in the mobile and telecom industry in India.
