Riding on Avengers: Infinity War

Eight brands have hitched their wagon to the movie and invested close to $150 million in promotional support.

A look at the brands and the efforts they have invested in:

Geico: The insurance provider created a co-branded commercial that had their spokes-gecko reciting the “There was an idea…” line from the first Avengers movie.

Quicken Loans: Quicken used a co-branded campaign to promote its Rocket Mortgage product.

Synchrony Bank: A co-branded commercial was part of the larger commercial from the bank to encourage young people to save more money.

Go-Gurt: The child-friendly on-the-go yogurt brand gave consumers a free ticket to see Infinity War.

Infiniti: The car maker launched a campaign to support its new QX50 which makes an appearance in the movie.

Stand up to Cancer: The charity worked with American Airlines on a movie-branded campaign where every donation of $25 was rewarded with 10 American Airlines AAdvantage miles.

Ziploc: It introduced movie-branded bags featuring the movie’s heroes and villains with a 30-second spot showcasing the brand’s versatility.

Dole: The brand created a number of recipes based on the characters in Infinity War as part of its Powering the Hero Within campaign.
