Starcom beat BBH by a whopping 148 runs, while DB Corp's second win was against Jaguar

After playing out a breathtaking tie with BBC on Day 1, BBH slumped to a whopping 148-run defeat at the hands of Starcom India, on the second day of the Dainik Bhaskar Agency and Media Cricket League (DBAMCL) in Mumbai.

Starcom openers, Ketan (76) and Sarvesh (67) plundered the BBH bowling attack, smashing 21 boundaries and 4 sixes between them. BBH was never in the game, as they were dismissed for a miserable 13 runs. Ketan was declared the man of the match, for storming his way to 76 runs in just 29 deliveries.

After the run-riot by Starcom, the match between Interactive Avenues B (IA-B) and DNA brought a lull. IA-B's Naresh Gondaliya's two quick strikes restricted DNA to a modest 61 in its quota of 10 overs. IA-B achieved the target easily, with able support from Sunil, who made a brisk 22 runs off 13 balls, as Naresh chipped in with 14 runs. Naresh Gondaliya bagged the man of the match award.

Jaguar's weak performance continued on Day 2, as it was handed yet another convincing defeat by DB Corp. Hemant starred in the match, first scoring a quick-fire 36 with the bat; and then scalping three wickets for 23 runs in his quota of four overs. His all-round performance made sure Jaguar fell 24 short of DB Corp's score of 79 runs.
