Y. K. Alagh joins Somany Ceramics limited management board

Noted economist and former Union Minister of India, Mr. Y. K. Alagh has joined the management board of Somany Ceramics Limited.

Mr. Alagh will oversee business operations of the organization and help in long and short term planning and policy making. Mr. Alagh has earlier worked as a Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Planning and Programme Implementation, Science and Technology and Power for Government of India. He was elected to Rajya Sabha from Gujarat in November 1996 and has also served as the vice-chancellor of Jawaharlal University, New Delhi.
