Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), the country's largest passenger car exporter and the second largest car manufacturer, today inaugurated a new dealership–‘Mody Hyundai' situated at Survey No: 33, Kompally Road, Medchal Highway -7, Near Bowenpally Check post. Secunderabad. This is the 17th dealership in Andhra Pradesh taking the total number of dealers in the Southern 2 region to 24.
Promoted by Nihar K Mody, the new dealership is spread across a built up area of 50,000 sq feet with 3S facility (Sales, Service & Spares), and boasts of a capacity to showcase the entire range of Hyundai cars.
Commenting on the opening of the new showroom, H W Park, MD, HMIL, said, "Hyderabad is an important market for Hyundai and the opening of this dealership proves our eagerness to strengthen our presence in this region in order to meet the growing demand for Hyundai cars here. The state-of-the-art showroom and workshop facilities at ‘Mody Hyundai' will help HMIL provide speedy and efficient service to our valued customers in the city."
In fact, Hyundai believes that given the average time a customer spends at the showroom, the customer and his family should be taken care of in every way. Exclusive customer and separate driver's waiting lounges are also available.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has a large sales and service network in the country, with 285 operational dealers which will be further strengthened to around 320 by the end of 2010. Currently HMIL enjoys a market share of 21% in Southern 2 region and 23.3% in Andhra Pradesh, which the company hopes to increase to 22% and 25% respectively by the end of 2010, with the strengthening of its dealer network in coming years.
