Sonia Gandhi emerges as the clear leader in BharatMatrimony's Women's Day poll

With Women's Day celebrations round the corner BharatMatrimony, the leader in the matrimony space, conducted two online polls - "Role Model among Celeb Moms" & "India's Most Powerful Women", in order to recognize India's most important women in their respective categories.

The week long poll featured a list of 10 famous Women Personalities across India. The list was worked out on parameters such as leadership qualities, strategic thinking, business relationships, public profile, charisma, significant contribution to the industry and society at large.

Interestingly, Sonia Gandhi was the clear leader by a wide margin in the role mom category with 30% of the votes, followed by Kajol with 20% and third in place was Jaya Bachchan with 17 %votes.

In the Most Powerful Women category the list featured a mix of successful women from different spheres of life. Interestingly, the top 2 slots were taken by Politicians with Sonia Gandhi again taking the lead, receiving a whopping 50% of the votes. She was followed by Jayalalitha with 20% votes and in third place was Chanda Kochhar with 9 % votes.
