Bharti AXA General Insurance is the first insurance organization in India to have partnered with AXA Assistance, a subsidiary of the AXA Group, to offer road-side Assistance network across 1500 locations in 22 states. Bharti AXA General Insurance Road Side Assistance is an add-on cover that provides support to customers at the event of immobilization of a vehicle after a breakdown or an accident. Customers can now avail the benefits of this premium service in a 24/7 multi-lingual support environment through the various tie ups Bharti AXA General Insurance has with motor service providers. Currently, this service has over 3175 ASP's servicing from the identified locations. The scope of service includes a) Repair Services for Minor Breakdowns, b) Vehicle relocation to the nearest garage in case of major breakdown, c) Changing of Flat tyre, d) Assistance in case of Lockout/ lost keys, e) Arrangement of emergency fuel in case the vehicle runs out of fuel, f) Alternative Transport assistance to the nearest safe location for the passengers of the vehicle. Bharti AXA GI Road Side Assistance offers professional help, anytime, anywhere within 30 minutes of a breakdown and all this at Re 1/ day or Rs 365 (plus taxes) in a year.

He further added that, "To ensure we are able to offer timely help to our customers, AXA Assistance's network is divided into grids across the country, with each grid led by a network manager. In case of a breakdown, network manager of that area ensures that the ASP identified by the call center reaches the breakdown site and attends to the customer. To avail this service, customers can dial a toll free number 1800-1020-100.
The Roadside Assistance service covers all private Cars up to 5 years of Age. Through this cover, the insured gets unlimited interventions during the policy period. In order to place a request for assistance customers need to mention either of the following, Cover note number, Policy number, Registration number and Engine or chassis number.
