Inspired by the concept of Entrepreneur - Week and its increasing importance, Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF), one of the renowned Fashion and Design institute in the country, recently held a competitive series of presentations by the students of Pearl Academy of Fashion and Indian Retail School on the Idea of Entrepreneurship, at PAF Auditorium .

Ms. Pearl Uppal, CEO, Fashion and You and Mr. Sanjay Verma, Senior Vice President, Trust Line, were the Chief Guest for the evening.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. A. K. G. Nair, Group Director, Pearl Academy of Fashion said: "The basic idea behind organizing this competition was to make the students understand the importance of Entrepreneurship. The students with their research have presented very well and it was indeed a great opportunity for them to know more about the concept. We at Pearl Academy of Fashion always try to give maximum exposure to our students so that they have a brilliant future in their respective fields."

Idea of the Decade competition was a part of the Entrepreneurship Week, an initiative of E-Cell of Pearl Academy of Fashion. The aim of this competition was to give an opportunity to the students for showcasing their Entrepreneurship and Business talents through presentations and creating a sense of competitiveness among the students to perform better. Students from different streams like Retail, Textile Design, Fashion Design, Communication Design, etc participated in large numbers.

Winners of the competition were as follows:-1st Prize went to the team of Ms. Ashitha Sanju & Ms. Kritika Mani (PG Fashion Marketing) from Chennai, the 2nd Prize to Ms. Ankita Dwivedi of (PG Fashion Retail), and 3rd Prize to Ms. Arushi Sharma from (UG Communication Design).

An exciting outcome of this competition is that Ms. Pearl Uppal has made an offer to Ms. Arushi Sharma (Fashion &You) and they will be mentoring her to take her business model ahead. The presentations given by the students were beyond expectations and the students were given a personal feedback by the honorary Chief Guest's.
