Company Brief
Mumbai, February 25, 2011
After a successful 2010, E-Sense Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., an events, publishing and motion pictures firm, rang in the New Year by bagging a prestigious client in the form of Goa Tourism.
E-Sense has been roped in to conduct national and international events, exhibitions, production, advertising and public relations on behalf of Goa Tourism. Which is to say that it is now responsible for promoting Goa as a great and safe holiday destination in India and abroad.
And in its very first project, E-Sense went international to set up a stall for Goa tourism at the Fitur 2011 exhibition in Madrid, followed by road shows and conferences in Paris and Milan.
First up was the coveted international tourism fair, Fitur 2011, in Madrid, Spain. The five day exhibition from January 19-23 witnessed participation from various countries as well as many Indian states. E-Sense was entrusted with setting up the stall at the exhibition, which it did by fabricating the stall with panels detailing the attractions of Goa, disseminating information, and conducting public relations. It even arranged for a compere as well as Spanish artistes dressed in traditional Indian wear to welcome and attend to the visitors, all of which together elicited a very enthusiastic response and ensured a footfall of more than a lakh.
Next, Team E-Sense along with the Goa Tourism team made its way to Paris, France, for a conference on January 25. Held at Hotel Renaissance, the conference saw all the leading local tour operators and media in attendance. The event was presided over by Goa Tourism ministers, wherein a promotional audio visual film was shown, after which the ministers addressed the guests. The same was the norm at Milan, Italy, on January 27, and at both the places, two lucky winners were given a free tour for two to Goa including airfare and accommodation during the time of the International Film Festival of India, held in Goa.
Supporting E-Sense at every step was the team from Goa Tourism, represented by Ms. Pamela Mascarehans, Deputy Director, Goa Tourism; Mr Tulsidas Rivankar, Assistant Director; Mr Govind Bhuan, Director, India Tourism, Milan; and Dr Patnayak, Director, India Tourism, Paris.
The Euro tour was nothing less than a coup of sorts for E-Sense, which promises to get bigger and better with every step. The firm will be further strengthened with the presence of Mr Uday Ajgaonkar, who has moved to E-Sense as its Business Head, followed by a long stint as the Marketing Manager (West India) for LG Electronics.
Talking about the company's phenomenal growth, Mr Nikhil Oza, COO, says, "After a successful 2010 which saw us bag big clients as HUL, WNS, Nirmal Lifestyle, Swarovski Gems, Asahi glass, Videocon, Zapak and Fahrenheit hotels and resorts, we went into 2011 with a bang by bagging Goa Tourism and frankly, the year has only looked up since. With a back to back schedule of activities and events, we've had to expand our team substantially and hope the trend continues."
